Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge

Do you see the picture above? Does that not look insanely awesome? To me it does - but then again I might just be a little insane. The picture above is from the ROC 5k also known as the ridiculous obstacle course. 

ROC is a game show inspired run, think of ABC's show called Wipeout! It is similar to that. ROC is also a 5k so a total of 3.1 miles and it is a mix between fun and challenging. The course is riddled with different obstacles depending on your location. They have wrecking balls, in which you have to cross a beam that is over a pool of water while a large ball swings back and forth. There are bouncy houses, inflatable slides, tire runs, monkey bars, and more. Although this course is more challenging than a simple run its still all for fun with no set timer. A majority of the locations for 2014 have wrapped up but you can sign up for emails to find when a run near you will be happening.

*Must be at least 13yrs of age to participate

*Minors must have a waiver signed by their parents

*When you register you will get a shirt, racing bib, safety pins, bag check & access to the course
