Fitness Foodie Facts Friday

Happy Friday everyone! Today starts my fall break - not really, fall break is today, Saturday and Sunday. Kind of a ripoff if you ask me. Anyways back to the point of today's blog. I added a bit more to my previous idea. Rather than just posting fitness videos I decided to add food to the list as well.

So many people think you need to eat less food to lose weight. While you can't inhale 2000+ calories a day you also can't eat too little because it will slow your metabolism and you won't lose weight either. Its more about eating healthier, more filling food than less food. Basically making wise decisions. Foods with a high water content and high in fiber will be most helpful in achieving that.

Can you guess what fruits and vegetables have the highest water content?

*Cucumbers
*Watermelon
*Pineapples
*Romaine Lettuce
*Tomatoes
*Blueberries
*Celery
*Cantaloupes
*Grapefruits
*Pears

So what are some of the benefits from these fruits and veggies?

*I should note cucumbers cannot CURE diabetes.
 It aids in healthy blood sugar levels
