I have decided a unique way to add to this blog in hopes everyone will find it helpful or at least interesting to follow. Everyday will focus on something new:
Sweat Fest Sunday
Musical Monday
Tasty Tuesday
Wardrobe Wednesday
Thirsty Thursday
Fitness/Foodie Friday
Sleepy Saturday
Sweat Fest Sunday - I will be posting quick workout videos that don't take much of your time and are relatively easy even for a beginner. Remember, you don't have to do the entire video straight through. Breaks are okay as long as you keep going
Musical Monday - I have googled and found top rated playlists that go with every kind of workout
Tasty Tuesday - Healthy recipes to make at home. A big thing I never noticed was how incredibly bad restaurant food is. Not to mention boxed foods you buy at the grocery store. Restaurants give 2-4x the recommending serving size. Or just have additives that don't make sense. I can make a veggie burger at home for 160 calories yet Red Robin serves a veggie burger w/ a bun that comes in a nearly 1,000 calories. One wouldn't think (if they didn't look at the nutrition label online) that a single burger would equate to nearly half of their allotted calories for the day.
Wardrobe Wednesday - I will post cute workout clothes
Thirsty Thursday - Smoothies and healthy juices and their benefits. These are not juices to replace meals. I would never recommend that.
Fitness Foodie Friday - Will vary from Friday to Friday but this will be workout videos and tips along with some facts about food you may not know and some recipes from time to time.
Sleepy Saturday - Absolutely nothing. Relax veg out, rest and be lazy. I may post quotes, pictures or something random.
I started this blog because of a school project. We were to create a blog on something personal, something we know, something unique and something others could relate to. Originally the main focus was going to be on running 5ks but after a rundown of information I ran out of things to say. I needed to expand my topic. This blog will be all about loving yourself and working towards a healthy lifestyle along with a few fun and challenging 5ks to challenge and reward yourself with.
